New Buds
Tonight begins a three day retreat for Life Change. This is a 12 week course where you breakdown strongholds in your life.
I thought this photo was a great one to share. As we breakdown strongholds we sprout new buds which bloom into beautiful flowers. Our lives change with each new bud. God bless.
Not Defensless
8 But my eyes are toward you, O GOD, my Lord; in you I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless! 9 Keep me from the trap that they have laid for me and from the snares of evildoers! 10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by safely. Psalms 141:8-10
God will never leave nor forsake us. We must on our part also trust in Him and believe that He has our best interest. Trusting in God is hard because sometimes His answer is wait or even no. So we must also learn to wait upon the Lord.
My brothers and sisters God is for us therefore he cannot be against us. We have been adopted into the family of God you are my brothers and sisters. Be encouraged today because God hears all of our prayers and even more important He answers ALL of our prayers.
Remember we are more than conquerors because God paid a hefty price for us. Jesus died for you and me a great price to pay just to show His love for us. Amen have a blessed day.
He Isn’t Here
6 And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.” Mark 16:6-7
People are still looking for a conquering king. Problem is the have missed the purpose of the conquering king. Our lives cannot be conquered until we are redeemed. This is what people miss, they miss the need for a redeeming king. Jesus Christ is our Redeeming King which means that we are saved from the world unto the Kingdom of God. Jesus redeemed us and we are saved. All we have to do is accept Him (Jesus) into our lives and we have conquered this world. We are no longer residents of this world. We are travelers passing through to the Kingdom of God.
Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins. Jesus isn’t here He is sitting on the throne waiting for us to join Him. We do have to meet Him in our Galilee to claim our redemption. It isn’t hard all we have to do is pray:
Father I am a sinner. I confess my sins and ask you to come into my life. Today I become a Christian. Thank you Jesus for forgiving my sins and setting me free. Amen
God bless each of you.
Lean On God
SCRIPTURE
Psalm 108:12, 13 NKJV “Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.”
OBSERVATION
This is such a powerful verse. If we put our trust in man we will always fail. It isn’t to say that man is not to be trusted but our strength is not from man but from God. God is our strength not man. God protects us not man. God can save us not man. In this world it is too easy for us to forget God and place our trust in man. We make treaties with man. We invest in man. We even expect man to come to our aid whenever we need them. From past experiences man has always let me down. There is always a reason that is given or they are just never there. God is not like this He always has our best interest in mind. God never fails man, man fails God. Don’t get me wrong man doesn’t mean to fail us it just happens. We fail our friends from time to time don’t we. It is just that we can’t do or be in all places. Man doesn’t always know what is best for us but God does.
APPLICATION
Even though it is a good thing to place trust in man it isn’t a wise decision to put all our trust in man. God on the other hand we must put all of our trust in Him. God always has our best interest in mind. He will never leave or forsake us He will never lead us astray. God is ONE AWESOME GOD. We do have some things to consider though when trusting God. As in times of the Old Testament God’s direction was always sought after first. We need to know that the direction we are taking is the direction that God wants us to take. Going against God’s direction will lead us to destruction and not victory. We serve a perfect God and need to always remember this. We need to remember that He knows the outcome before we do things. So following His direction has to lead to victory. Remember God will never lead us astray his ways are perfect in every way. Man may let us down from time to time but God never will.
PRAYER
Father God may I always place my trust in You. I know You will always have my best interest in mind. I know You will never let me down for Your love for me is infinite. May my love for You also be infinite. Amen.
God Cares
God lead me to His heavens today. He told me “this is what I pray Go forth and spread My love around”, But I said “no love in my heart can be found.” He asked me once, a second time, thrice “Do you love me? Then open your heart’s eyes…. Reach out to the hurting, the wounded the aged, Touch the lives of the weak and the ailing. Give patience and forgiveness to those you hate And hug the ones who just can’t wait. Grant hope and encouragement to those easy to love And show them my kingdom from up above… But most of all feed my sheep So in the heavens their souls I’ll keep… God loves us all not wanting any to be lost He paid for our sins his highest cost Know you are loved today not only by me but also by God eternally
Shepherd of Shrpherds
SCRIPTURE
Ezekiel 34:11, 12 NKJV “‘For thus says the Lord God: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.”
OBSERVATION
We are sheep under our Shepherd but if our shepherd doesn’t care for us there is another Shepherd who will take care of us. God is the Shepherd of shepherds and He leads the shepherds. From time to time there will be a pastor who will not watch over the flock. These sheep or the people of the church will get lost and go astray. They may have hurts, illnesses and other problems which these pastors may not minister too. We need to remember who we really are. We are children of God Almighty. When we are lost, have hurts, feel sick, we know that we have God who will watch over us. The Shepherd of shepherds will protect us.
APPLICATION
We are never alone God is always with us. When we feel lonely or feel that no one cares there is One who does care, God. He has promised to never leave or forsake us and this promise is ours to claim. What we do have is an obligation to God that we follow Him and obey His commandments. If we don’t follow or obey His commandments God may let us suffer until we return back to Him. So if we feel that even God doesn’t care about us, look at your life as see if it is a life pleasing to God. If it isn’t it is our job to correct our lives first then God will help with our problems.
PRAYER
Father may I always correct back to You. May my life follow Your path. When I stray help me by nudging me back to Your path. You are My Shepherd forever. Amen
Amazed
SCRIPTURE
Acts 12:15, 16 NKJV “But they said to her, “You are beside yourself!” Yet she kept insisting that it was so. So they said, “It is his angel.” Now Peter continued knocking; and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished.”
OBSERVATION
To tell the whole story. Peter was in prison to be executed by Herod. The church was praying that he would be saved from this execution. God heard the prayers and sent an angel to set Peter free. Peter goes to the church and Rhonda in her excitement doesn’t open the gate but goes to tell everyone that Peter is at the gate. The church tells Rhonda that it can’t be and that is why they are praying for Peter’s safety. Isn’t that like us we pray and ask God for something and when He grants our prayer we don’t acknowledge the answer to that prayer. God listens to each and every prayer we pray. God answers the prayers which meet our needs. The problem is we get so lost in our lives we just see these answers to our prayers. In some cases we pray for something we feel that God will never grant us. Then when He grants our prayer we don’t believe that He answered our prayer. When we pray we need to believe the prayer will be answered. We also need to remember that God grants us our needs not our wants.

In His Loving Arms
Painting done using Brushes App for the iPhone. Jesus hugs us each day and he gives the bestest hugs of all!!!
In Vain
Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Gal 3:2
Lot of Americans feel they are Christian just because the live in America. Others because they are good people. Still others just because they go to church on Sunday. We are saved by the grace of God and the death of Jesus. Without this we are just plain sinners without hope.
Look to Jesus every moment. Talk to God every moment. With this you are saved. Works=death, Christ in our hearts=eternal life. You choose.
